Chrysalis Earrings

The chrysalis, or protective sheath from which a butterfly emerges, is the sheltered state which allows the winged beauty to grow and develop into what it is destined to become. I think we can all relate to a time of growth in our lives that has given us a chance to emerge as something better. In these earrings, the chrysalis is a beautiful vintage Czech glass drop, and below it hangs a lovely brass butterfly that I antiqued to a perfect darkened shade. 

This pair of earrings features beautiful artisan glass beads, antiqued brass, and nickel and lead free natural brass earwires.
